It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend Ray.
Ray was born and raised in St Rose Manitoba. In his teens he worked in the logging industry in BC and then enlisted in the Canadian Armed forces in 1953. Ray served 34 respected years in the forces that took him and his family through out Canada and Germany. After two postings in CFB Comox, Ray and Jan decided to retire to the Comox Valley.
He leaves behind the love of his life Janette, Daughters; Darlene (Mike), Laura (Dan), Elaine (Jerry) and Sharon (Steve), 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
We Love you very much Ray and will see you on the other side.
A Huge thank you goes out to Cumberland Lodge for their care for Ray over the past 4 years and to Comox Valley Regional Hospital for their compassion during his last moments.
A Celebration of Life will take place April 15th 2018 @ 1 pm at the Upper Comox Legion.
