In loving memory ~
We are saddened to announce the passing of Ralph (Rick) Hodgson on July 25, 2022. Rick lost a valiant fight with Leukaemia and now he's at peace.
Rick's career started in the military and ended with his working for National Defence as a fire fighter. Rick was not ready for retirement so he took up driving buses. He drove tour buses and school buses. He was much loved by the school kids on his route as he was always there with a smile and a helping hand.
In his spare time, over 50 years, he also refereed hockey. Rick was well respected and helped to train the next generation of referees. In the summer you could find him with his wife, Jan, and his family on their boat in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.
He loved his time in cottage country. Many of you may know Rick from his cruising around town or on the trails as he was an avid cyclist. He will be missed by his wife, his family and many friends.
As per Rick's request, there will be no service.
