April 12, 1926 - May 16, 2019
Phyllis passed away Thursday morning, May 16th after suffering a massive stroke the day before. She was predeceased by her husband Ivor, brother Bill and sister Eileen. Left to keep her memory alive are her daughter Hilary (George) Bedigan, Paul (Diane) McCluskey, her brother Gordon (Mary) Hutton, and several nieces and nephews in Canada and Northern Ireland.
Phyllis retired from Dome Petroleum as land lease library manager. Her oilmen affectionally called her 'Sergeant Major.' She was small but she was a force to be reckoned with.
Phyllis moved to Parksville, Vancouver Island, where she spent some of the happiest days of her life. She loved to walk the boardwalk on Parksville Bay. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
