Phyllis May Reynolds

Phyllis May Reynolds

We say goodbye to Phyl. She left quietly in her sleep in her home at Chartwell Malaspina Care Residence.

She is survived by her three sons Mike, Dave and Phil (Pip), six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and loving sister Olive in England.  She was predeceased by her husband George in 1986.

The family emigrated to Canada in the 1950s, living in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver with Phyl working as a medical secretary. She moved to her Nanaimo seaside condo in 1989 where she enjoyed a full life with all her crafts and many friends, and companion cat Ripples. She was a much loved mother, grandmother, and dear friend. Each person in her life had a special and unique relationship with her. She was a driving force and will be very much missed.

Phyl celebrated her 90th birthday in February with family and friends.

A special thank you to the caring staff at Chartwell Malaspina along with Doctors Walker and Kerridge who all looked after her so well.

She has requested no service.
