With profound sadness, we announce Peter's passing on February 22, 2019 at age 74. He is survived by Susan, wife of 47 years, son Kyle (Lynette), daughter Kiera (David), 4 grandchildren: Jessica, London, Asher, Shawn, and brother Carl (Jane). He was born in Revelstoke, BC on November 14, 1944. Peter attended school in Nanaimo at Princess Royal Elementary and John Barsby Secondary, moved on to attend Qualicum College, and became a Chartered Member of Simon Fraser University. Aside from his working life at Harmac until 2005, he played Redman football, rugby for the Nanaimo Hornets, and was very involved with the White Rapids Summer Swim Club for 12 years.
Peter greatest joy was family, a real family man. He enjoyed roleplaying as Santa Claus for his family and the neighborhood children. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Peter's memory to the S.P.C.A.
