Paul Philip Jensen passed away with family at his side on June 28, 2018 at North Island Hospital, Courtenay, BC at the age of 85, beloved husband of Loretta Margaret Jensen, Courtenay.

Paul was born in Calgary, AB Jan 17, 1933 and lived there until 16 yrs of age when the family moved to Qualicum, BC and later moved to Victoria. After high school, Paul attended Christian & Missionary Alliance Bible college in Regina, SK and then joined the RCAF as Air Frame Technician and served 4 yrs at #1 Wing, Marville, France.

They were married in London, England, honeymooned at Edinburgh, Scotland and lived in St. Mard, Belgium for 2 yrs. Ruth, their oldest daughter was born at the military base in Marville. Paul enjoyed playing Badminton and visiting with the many friends he had at the base. He was posted to North Bay, ON, Bagotville, Que, Cold Lake, AB and then Comox, as his final posting.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Soren, Don (Evelyn), Ken (Olive) and his Mother, Esther Parnell Jerreat and his father, Peter Jensen.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta and children, Ruth Jensen, Courtenay, Esther (Jeff Sales), Cold Lake, AB, Daniel (Wendy), Estevan, SK, Sharon (Robert Patterson) Bonnyville, AB and Mary Jensen, North Bay, ON. He had 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Saturday June 30th at Courtenay Fellowship Baptist Church, Courtenay. Thank you to our lovely friends who came out to celebrate his life and the Church family who hosted the memorial.
