It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful spouse, mother, grandmother and friend to so many after a long battle of health issues.
Predeceased by her husband Arnold Clark, son Daryl Clark and brother Doug Carter.
Left to mourn is her partner of 30 years Hugh Vickberg, daughter Cindy Clark, daughter in-law Jennifer Clark and her 3 grand children Arnie, Ashley and Kimberly, brother Ray Carter and sister in-law Lynne Carter as well as many many friends, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Patti was born and raised in Cumberland BC. After marrying at a young age, she moved to Sayward BC where her husband Arnold Clark worked as a faller but was sadly killed in a falling accident at the age of only 32 . As a young widow, Patti moved to Duncan, BC with her 2 young children to be closer to family. A year later she moved to Chemainus, BC where she worked in the logging industry for many years with her late brother Doug Carter and dad, Tom Carter.
Everyone who knew Patti shared the same love for her. She was a character through and through and will be forever missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She was one of a kind!!
The family would like to say a very special thank you to everyone who visited Patti during her very long stay in hospital and a very special thank you to Leesa Carter (niece), Lynne Carter (sister in-law), Sandra Quesnelle, (Niece) Grace and Gordie Clark and Kathleen Beggs.
