Patrick Cooney died peacefully in his home on the ocean on April 1, 2023. He was born in Walkerville, Ontario, in 1931, and attended Assumption College and the University of Michigan, obtaining his Geology degree. He worked in the oil and gas industry in Calgary and retired to Vancouver Island.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Sheila, his children, Lesley, Patrick, and Tim (Linda) Cooney, his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
