WHYTE, Patricia Bernadette
December 14, 1929 - May 27, 2004
Beloved wife of 55 years to James, passed away peacefully at home on May 27th at 6:49 p.m. after a hard fought battle with cancer.
She came to the "wild west" of Courtenay in 1948 from Warrington, Lancashire to marry the young Canadian she had met from the nearby police college several months earlier. They then went on to have five sons, Jim (Thea), Bill (Nora), Murray (Jane), Wes (Kim), Kerry and one daughter Patricia (Dana) Hart. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren.
No longer here to hug but will live forever in our hearts.
A private family interment service was held on Monday, May 31st at the Courtenay Civic Cemetery.
