June 20, 1946 - July 17, 2021
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Patricia Ann Whiteaker. A loving mother, grandmother, friend and neighbour. She was born on June 20th 1946 and passed on July 17th 2021 at age 75. Pat spent most of her life on Vancouver Island. She worked very hard as a single mother to achieve her degree and start her long career as an Educator. While immersed in her teaching career Pat earned her Masters Degree and continued on establishing herself as one of Nanaimos exceptional teachers. She could most often be found with dirt on her fingers tending to her gardens with her greenest of thumbs. She lived a life of travel, passion, inspiration, and love. She was and outstanding member of our community who influenced everyone along her journey, from family, students, friends, and Acquaintances. It is with great reluctance we say one final goodbye to our beloved, Patricia Ann Whiteaker.
