Norman James Locke passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 19, 2019. He will be reunited with his parents (Doug and Fran Locke) and his faithful border collie "Tig".
He is survived by his horse loving wife Roseanna and his daughters Ashley and Tiffany.
In addition to close family and friends, he is fondly remembered by his sister Brenda (nieces Tammy/Tracy) along with brothers Ed and Don.
Norman was born in Sidney BC. He had a love of baseball growing up wining many batting titles in Little League and Babe Ruth League. He grew up on WoodWynn farm where he developed a passion for Angus Cattle. He established Lochness Cattle Company where he bred, showed and sold Angus Cattle at major events across Canada.
After meeting the love of his life Roseanna. They raised two beautiful daughters that where the centre of his life and his greatest joy. They lived on many farms where Norm was a true farmer and cattleman.
The family would like to thank his doctors (Wilhelm, Elliot, Masuda) plus the entire medical team that supported him thru his courageous battle over the past year. We would also like to give a special thanks to Kelly Olsen and Ken Graff for all their love and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations to BC Cancer Foundation or the Canadian Angus Foundation would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at Rocky Ridge Quarter Horses (2521 Townend Rd, Duncan BC) at 1 pm.
