In loving memory of Norma Walker, who passed away on Nov. 21, 2019 in Duncan, BC, after a short battle with cancer.
Norma was predeceased by her parents, Isabella Walker Hare and Robert Hare of Edinburgh, Scotland and her former husband Gordon Walker of Victoria. She is survived by her son Douglas Walker and grandchildren Daniel, Laurel and Cameron Walker.
Norma immigrated to Canada at age 19 and spent most of her life living and working in Vancouver/Burnaby. Upon retirement, she moved to Lake Cowichan to be closer to family. She developed a close knit circle of friends there who will miss her dearly. Norma was a fiercely independent woman who lived her life thoroughly. She is forever in our hearts and minds.
