January 5, 1931 - July 19, 2019
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of a truly amazing woman. On July 19th, 2019, Norma Sanby passed away peacefully in Campbell River with her family by her side.
Norma had many important roles in our family... Devoted & Caring Wife, Nurturing & Supportive Mother, Caring & Fun Grandmother and Great Grandmother, as well as Loving Sister and Aunt. We will miss her smile,
her laugh and her love... and of course all the incredible baking!!!!
Norma was predeceased by parents: Claude and Gertrude Garratt, brother: Bert Garratt and sister: Betty Young. She is survived by husband: Denny Sanby, brother: Gordon (Lorraine) Garratt, daughters: Cathy (Lindsay)
Laverdure and Marjorie (Kevin) George and grandchildren: Shala (Darren) Scott, and Cole George and great grandchildren: Jenna and Jaimee Scott.
Norma also has many nieces and nephews here and back on the prairies that loved her dearly.
There will be a Celebration of Life in Campbell River on Aug 10th, 2019 at Cathy's house (2- 4). There will also be a service in Abernethy, Saskatchewan at a future date.
