September 8, 1921 - December 5, 2020
Septav, Nicholas (Nick) passed away peacefully December 05, 2020 at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital at the age of 99 years. Nick was born September 08, 1921 on his parents homestead farm in Tompkins, Sask. and moved with his family to Nanaimo during his early childhood.
He is survived by his sister Dorothy Mercer, brother Obren and nephews Bob Mercer, Tony Septav, Marc Septav (Laurie) Slocan BC, grandnephew Michael Mercer and grandniece Rian Mercer.
Over his lifetime Nick held a wide variety of job positions, always able to adapt quickly and successfully to all work environments. He spent the greater part of life living in the Five Acre (now Harewood) area of Nanaimo where he tended to his large garden and mini-orchard.
The family is thankful and grateful for the kind and caring support provided by ambulance, para-medias, emergency ward staff and Dr. Ian Montgomery while Nick was under their care. In accordance with Covis-19 restrictions and Nick's wishes there will be no service.
