Muriel Pomietlarz

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother, Muriel Pomietlarz. She passed away quietly at The Views on Sept. 3 at the age of 93.
She is predeceased by her second husband, John Pomietlarz and her first husband, Ron Williams.
She is survived by daughters Linda Grant (Doug) and grandson Darren of Courtenay, and Carole Williams-Huggins (Roger) and granddaughter Glenda and her 3 children of Bon Accord, AB.
Muriel was a British War Bride from Torquay, UK, living in Edmonton with Ron. She then moved to Merville with John in 1976, where she joined the War Brides Assoc. and entertained around the Comox Valley, singing Vera Lynn WWII big band music.
She loved all animals, had many pets, kept house and gardened.
She would have appreciated donations to the SPCA.
