Predeceased by her husband Andy, parents Oliver and Bertha, sisters Lois, Brother Kevin, and youngest sister Heather.
Survived by her children Terri-Ann (Chris) and Dan (Marites); grandchildren Angela (James), Darren (Jillana), Christina (Alex), Kurtis (Morgan) and Tim: great-grandchildren Emily and Aiden; sister Darlene; brother-in-law Art, sister-in-law Kim as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Born in Ontario, Muriel's father Oliver moved his family to B.C. in 1950 where she lived in the Fraser Valley, Surrey, Newton, and Langley before moving to the Alberni Valley.
Muriel met and married Andy in 1964 and spent 57 wonderful years together until his passing in December of 2021. They enjoyed many years travelling south and time in Barkley Sound. In the past few years, she saw many beaches and looked forward to road trips and lunches out. She was very proud to have finished her bucket list.
We would like to thank the family and friends that were close to Mom and helped her in her last few years. She spoke fondly of you.
Mom wanted to say that she did it her way.
A FUNERAL Mass was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 23rd, 2022, from Holy Family Notre Dame Church, 4751 Burke Road with Father Michael Tran.
