On Sept. 13th the sky got a whole lot brighter.
Michelle was beautiful inside and out. Known for many things her kind, gentle soul, her ability to light up a room with her smile, her love for animals, ice cream, chocolate and her hilarious sense of humour.
Michelle was an aspiring make up artist and talented volleyball player known as 'mouse" for her quiet demeanour on the court.
Loved and admired by all for the bravery and grace she presented when forced to face an unimaginable diagnosis of terminal cancer at the age of 16. Michelle fought selflessly with a smile on her face to the very end still caring for others. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love.
She will forever be missed, but never forgotten. Memories last forever, and Michelle's beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who love her.

A small family celebration will take place, but will not be open to the public. An online memorial will be set up in the future.
Donations can be made to Canuck Place Children's Hospice or BC Children's Hospital in honour of Michelle.
