March 9, 1934 - September 18, 2022
Michael was born on March 9th, 1934, to Nicholas & Eva Tadychuk in Fort Francis, Ontario. His family (Mom, Dad and 2 older sisters Jenny & Bernice) moved to Thunder Bay in 1941. In February 1956 he met the love of his life Deloraine Dunk and they were married March 15, 1958. They lived together almost inseparable for over 64 years. Together they raised 3 daughters. In 1969, they made the move from Thunder Bay to Gold River and Michael became an employee at the local pulp mill. He ended up retiring in 1994 after they made their move into Campbell River in 1993.
Michael was an avid golfer and fisherman in his day. He also had a love for music and could pick up any instrument and play by ear. He was a good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them, a loving grandfather and "great-grand" father.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter April Holmes. Mr. Tadychuk is survived by his loving wife Deloraine Tadychuk of Campbell River; two daughters: Jodey Laine Cox (Al) of Campbell River, Tobie Stoeff (Toni) of Chilliwack; Four grandchildren: Jordanna Holmes of Campbell River, Tanner Holmes (Glenna) of Campbell River, Michael Cox (Daralynn) of Nanaimo, Phoenix Mossey of Calgary; and two great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Holmes and Nolan Holmes.
Michael was a very quiet and loving man, who loved to garden. He was loved by many and will forever be missed!
