It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael David Croasdale on July 21, 2022. He was suddenly taken away and will forever be missed.
Michael is survived by his son, Joshua Croasdale (Laura), mother, Judy Croasdale, father, John Croasdale (Sue), brother, Alex Croasdale and sister, Catherine Comeau (Nic); as well as many nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins and numerous friends.
Michael was born in Blackburn, England and immigrated to Canada at the age of 11. He earned his red seal in carpentry at Camosun College and was a master carpenter who could perform any carpentry task. He took great pride in his work. Health issues forced Mike to re-skill and he recently completed a computer skills course and was very proud of his accomplishment. Michael could always be relied upon to help friends and family and will be remembered for his laugh and willingness to have a good time.
Michaels pride was his son Joshua whom his thoughts were often with; and his heart was with his mother, Judy, who he talked to almost daily.
For 5 years Michael played with Local 8 Red's soccer team. The good old days!!
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 13, 2022
from 1-4 pm at Pleasant Valley Hall, Nanaimo.
