December 22, 1947 - December 25, 2019
In the early hours of Christmas Day Melody slipped away. Predeceased by her husband Ray Westhaver, her father Ralph Hunter, mother Margaret and her brother Gerry. Survived by her son John Petrovic, her two lovely daughters Tina (Abed) Brenda (Tony) and her grandchildren Moody, Maher, Caitland, Dylan, and Keane, her two brothers and eight sisters.
Her beloved furbaby Papillion Classy brought her much comfort and joy. Melody was born and lived her whole life in the Comox Valley. She loved flowers and plants and was the happiest beachcombing for rocks, shells, driftwood or anything that caught her eye. She loved living with her sister Judy (Otto) on Seacliff Road and seeing the ocean every day. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.
No service by request and we will have a Celebration of her Life in the Spring.
