May 12, 1937 - May 8, 2020
It is with heartfelt sadness to announce the passing of our mom May age 82 loving wife to our dad Sydney Youngman of nearly 64 years. Predeceased by her dad and mom John and Jean McArthur, brothers Jack, Bobby and sister Margaret.
May was born May12, 1937 in London England on King George V1 Coronation day, where mom's parents were presented at the door with a gift from a royal representative. May grew up in Glasgow Scotland immigrating to Victoria BC in 1955.
Mom met the love of her life Syd Youngman, marrying in 1956. Together with dad enjoyed many wonderful years travelling thru Europe, many cruises and their favourite destination Mauwi Hawaii.
Mom enjoyed travel, music (bagpipes) and dance. Mom was a lovely baker, known for her pastry pies, shortbread and suet pudding. May enjoyed her crafts. especially knitting and quilting. Mom found solace in her flower garden and had great compassion for all animals, most recently her last little dog Kayla (shitzu) May they now be together at rest in heaven.
May is survived by her husband Syd, sons Don, (Sheila)Chris (Morena) and daughter Debbie., as well as her beloved grandchildren Amie (Russ) Nick, Dana (Carly) Casey, Colton (Edan) and Daniel, as well as her precious great grandchildren sweet little Quinn and baby Brooks whom she never had the chance to meet.

Life will never be the same without you mom, you will be loved and missed forever. Watch over us mom and light our paths.
