It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Lydia Gale after a long illness. Mary and husband Fred (deceased), spent many years in Mill Bay and were extremely active and beloved members of the community for more than forty years. Mary would have been 95 on her next birthday.
She was the loving mother of: Anne (James) Murray of Mission BC, Frank (Rosemary) Gale of Cultus Lake BC, and Chris (Kathleen) Gale of Mill Bay. She will be dearly missed by her 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her spouse Frederick and her great grandchild Lucia.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 790 Kilmalu Road, Mill Bay, BC. To honour Mary's accomplishments and special memories, A Celebration of Life will be held on a separate occasion with the location and date to be announced at a later date.
