Faye passed away on December 4, 2017, peacefully at Ty Watson House in Port Alberni.
Left behind are her daughters, Idamay (Barry) Ward and Violet (Tom) Skirrow. Her much loved grandchildren, (her partner in crime) Leanne (Gary) Ruissen, David (Terra) Skirrow, Jillian (Kris) Lee, and Tristan Miller. Five great grandchildren, Darren (Jilliana) Francoeur, Kurtis Francoeur (and soon to be great granddaughter in law, Morgan) Taydem Skirrow, Paige Skirrow, and Sassa Lee. One great great grand daughter Emily Francouer. Brother, John (Cheryl) Bassingthwaite, and sister Blanche (Joe) Lamy.
Also left are her many nieces and nephews, who she adored and her many dear friends, especially Claudette Olivieri.
Predeceased by her parents John and Violet Bassingthwaite, brother Jim Bassingthwaite, sister Violet Schultz, grandson Jared Johnston and just two short years ago her husband Ron, who she missed every single day.
Faye's family would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to the wonderful people at Ty Watson House who took such good care of mom while she was there. You are truly the most kind caring, compassionate people and words cannot express how grateful we are to each and every one of you.
There will be no service at moms request. Please, no flowers (mom didn't really like flowers) instead we ask that you make a donation to Ty Watson House in Port Alberni.
