April 10, 2021
May passed away on Saturday the 10th of April, 2021. She was born July 1936 in Drongan, a small village in Ayrshire, Scotland.
She and David married in 1960 and in 1963 went to Zambia, Africa where they spent 2 1/2 years. Together, they enjoyed living there and visiting game reserves.
In 1966 they emigrated to Canada, became citizens and have remained ever since. May worked in the Village Green Coffee Shop for 20 years as a waitress. She liked her work and loved meeting people.
Dogs played a big part in May's life, her last dog was Jamie a 160 lbs Bouvier who she loved. There wasn't a dog that she didn't like!
May leaves behind her husband David; daughter Debbie of Duncan; sister Mary of Ayr, Scotland; brothers: Andrew and Lewis both from Ayr, Scotland as well as by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her as a kind and gentle person. We would like to thank all the hospital staff who gave May such compassionate and dedicated care with special mention to the nurses and staff on the second floor as well as by Dr. Sohn and Dr. Reimer who gave their time and care.
"Thank you" from David and Debbie.
