Marilyn McVeigh Smith (nee Williams) passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2023.
Predeceased by her first husband and beloved father of her four girls, Robert (Bob) McVeigh, of Otterburn Park, QC Marilyn was graced with love again and married her second husband Gordon (Bud) Smith of Nanaimo, BC.
Surrounded by her girls, Brenda, Lezlie, Kelly, and Colleen - her grandchildren Charlie, Kayla, Alanna, Alex, Tenzin, and Maggie, her dear sister Alice, and beloved niece Joanna - she left this world as she lived it, enveloped in love and grace by those who will ensure her stories and strength will be passed down to her great-grandchildren, Carson, Jayce, Conan, Elijah, and little Eloïse Marilyn.
She was blessed to live a life full of adventures, challenges, laughter, tears, and most of all love. She takes our hearts with her.
