March 8, 1948 - August 7, 2019
We thought of you today, But that is nothing new We thought of you yesterday And will tomorrow, too.
We think of you in silence And make no outward show. For what it meant to lose you Only those who love you know
Remembering you is easy We do it every day.
It's the heartache of losing you That will never go away.
On August 7, 2019, Marilyn Mae Burrows passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 71 years. Marilyn was born in Edmonton, AB on March 8, 1948 to parents Ted and Elva Brown. She is survived by her two children: Tracey (Lorne) and Scott (Erin). She was the loving grandmother of four grandchildren: Alyssa, Tianna, Owen and Cailin. She is also survived by her three sisters: Bev (Don), Karen (Peter), Colleen (Rick) as well as by nieces and nephews: Iain, Craig, Nick and Lauren. Marilyn is predeceased by her father Ted, mother Elva, and the love of her life, best friend and husband Dave Burrows (1999). Marilyn (Mom) was always positive, encouraging and supportive of friends and family and had a smile that could light up a room.
She will always be remembered for her love of sporting events, especially curling, gardening and lunch dates with her grandchildren. Mom, you will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
