September 16, 2019
A strong beautiful voice has been silenced with the passing on September 16th 2019 of the women born as Marguerite Elizabeth Moxin but it's echo will always remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
A women of style and attitude Marguerite believed that life was like a game of bridge, you may not like the cards you were dealt but how you played them was more important. Her style and grace along with a wicked sense of humour helped her thru hard times and if all else failed you could always go out and buy a new pair of shoes to lift your sprits.
Marguerite took pride in being a woman, a mother and a good friend. Her children, Phillip, Paulette and Monique knew they were loved as she instilled in them her values that enabled them to become confident and strong adults. While she is remembered for her love of cooking and organizing special events it was her ability to remain mentally young, politically astute and her quick humour that was admired by those who had the privilege to know her.
Her family would like to say thank-you to Dr. Fourie, the North Island Health Nurse team and especially to the nurses and care givers at the Yuculta Hospice for their kindness and care.
