Margaret Presley

Presley, Margaret, a resident of "The Views", passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2019, aged 98. Predeceased by her husband William Irvin Presley and brother Peter Grime, Margaret is survived and will be dearly missed by sons Murray (Ann Scott) and David; daughter Ellen Presley (Karl Opelka); grandchildren Heidi, Trevor (Sara), Shanna (Shannon), and Lauren; great grandchildren Kailena, Thea, Cate, Alex (Campy), Kyran, Presley, Jordan, Kaden and Elijah, as well as her sister- in-law Dorothy, niece Elizabeth and nephew Steven.
Margaret served with the WAAF (Women's Auxiliary Air Force) during WWII, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the War Brides Association.
She was an avid bridge player and most other card games, a golfer, hiker and enjoyed travelling.
Margaret will be remembered by her family and many friends as hardworking, kind and gentle, so loving and lovable.
A gathering in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 17th, at 1 pm from Comox Valley Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, with a reception to follow in the Garden Room and Outdoor patio of the funeral home.
