June 2, 1922 - May 22, 2019
Margaret passed away peacefully on May 22, 2019 at Glacier View Lodge in Courtenay. She was born on July 2, 1922 in Carluke, Scotland to parents Bob and Peg Sloan.
Mom enjoyed working in her flower garden and spent many happy years with her family at their cabin on Comox Lake. She loved reading and playing cards-especially Canasta with Dad and their good friends Roliker and Jody. For work, Mom had a position at the Cumberland Hospital in Dietary Aide, a place where she made many good friends.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband George, sister Jean Polkinghorne and her parents Bob and Peg.
She is survived and dearly missed by, sons, Robert (Liz) and Doug, daughter, Elaine (Don), her sister Diane Sloan and her grandsons, Brent (Jamie), Brandon (Joely), granddaughter, Keri (Roger) and her great-grandchildren, Brendan and Sloan and Levi and Tuesday Hofmann
