Born September 8, 1923 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Left this world peacefully on December 8, 2020 in Victoria. B.C.
Survived by her sons Jock (Marlene) and Jim (Kate), her sister Joyce, and numerous nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Archie in 2005 and by many other relatives of her generation.
Nieta was a long-time Comox Valley resident who for many years operated Finlayson Furniture on 5th Street in Courtenay, together with her husband. She relocated to Victoria in 2016.
