November 18, 1939 - August 14, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce that Mamie Ann passed away peacefully after a short illness.
Mom was born in Camrose Alberta, but as a child relocated with her family to Parksville and remained on Vancouver Island, living in Nanaimo and Campbell River and eventually returning to her beloved Parksville later in life.
She will be greatly missed by Buck, her husband and best friend of 61 years, her children Doug (Linda), Wayne (Georgie) and Brian; and by grandchildren Jacob, Jessica (Mateo), Zachary, Allana (Renan) and Hayden (Levon).
As well as her three special jewels, great-granddaughters Blake, Halle and Sawyer.
Mom was predeceased by her parents Len and Ruth and her two brothers Bob (Doreen) and Gene (Muriel).
We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Trillium Lodge who assisted mom in her last days.
When possible a gathering of family and friends will be held to reflect on memories and celebrate Moms life.
