It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Mae on Jul 30.
Mae is predeceased by Ted Whitley (1993). She is survived by her loving husband Roland Bechthold married December 31, 1998, her children Wayne, Wendy (Brent), Karen (Doug), Kathy (Jim), her grandchildren Michael, Kevin, Trevor, Sarah, Kyle, Justin and Amy, her 9 great grandchildren, her sister Sandra (Bob) Elliott and several nieces and nephews.
Mae was the proud owner of Unicorn RV in Nanaimo from 1973-2009. She loved watching her grandchildren's hockey and ball games. Mae loved to travel.
Special thanks to the NSV nurses, care aides and recreation girls for their patience, care and stories about our mom.
Service will be held on August 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Yates Memorial Services.
