It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved Mother Lydia Norris. Mom was born in Germany, but her family came from Estonia. The family immigrated to Canada in 1950, and she grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. She worked several years for Family Services in Campbell River, before she retired 10 years ago. Mom loved reading and drawing, but will be forever remembered for her love of gardening, as she always planted the most beautiful flowers year after year. Lydia was predeceased by her loving husband Jack Norris, survived by her daughter Tracy, grandson Josh, and her two beloved cats, Sweety and Chunky. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses from Campbell River hospital, and all the home support workers who helped care for her. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A private gathering will take place at a later date.
