Nanaimo radio pioneer Lyall Feltham, 86, passed away January 2nd. Lyall began his career at CJAV in Port Alberni then moved to CHUB in 1956, where for many years he was the morning host. Lyall will be lovingly remembered for his photography, gardening, jam making and boating.
Lyall is survived by his wife Stephanie, his children from his first wife Joan: Jennifer (Brian), Kelly (Tony), and Perry (Helen), 7 grandchildren who loved his infamous waffles, 8 great grandchildren, his brother Kerry (Diane) and a circle of dear friends.
