It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of 'Nana' Lorraine Koffski. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Lorraine was the glue that held our large, loving family together. She was a Nana to everyone. Full of life, laughter and light; she was an absolutely incredible woman. She was a stay-at-home Mom who didn't always stay home! She and Sam spent many days and nights in their plane, boats and motorhomes over the years. They travelled to amazing locations, immersing themselves in different cultures, and always making friends wherever they went. People always gravitated to her.

Lorraine was the life of the party, the ultimate joke teller (usually with the wrong punch line). When you were with Lorraine you always had a smile on your face, and a drink in your hand.

She loved animals with all her heart. She loved to gamble, held a master bowler certificate; was a dedicated BC Lions fan, and the best bread baker you have ever met! Everyone always fought over the crust!

Kim's many daycare children brought a lot of happiness and joy to her life over the years. There was a ritual of going for coffee and treats everyday; ice cream cones at 10 am in the morning - only at Nana's!

She leaves behind, her family:  Husband Sam Koffski, Daughter Kim Langkammer (Ken), Sons Les Koffski (Joanne), Sid Koffski (Jennifer), and Gregory Koffski (predeceased), Sisters; Shirley McGuire, Elsie Posehn (Al), Brother Ed Renner (Leslie), Sister-in-law Lenore Donegan and chosen family Sandy Fitzpatrick, Brian & Lorraine Hamilton, and Tom & Mavis Bethune (and family).

Grandchildren; Talia, Jonelle (Patrick), Chad (Eric), Leslie (Rachel), Kaila (Andrew), Griffin, Christine (Darryl), Dawn (Roy) and Debbie, Great Grandchildren; Evan, Addison, Austin, RJ, Zoe, Finn, Kelsey, and Brianna, Great, Great Grandchildren; Ellie and Willow.

Lorraine had great faith, and a wonderful parish family. It gives us great comfort to know that she is looking over us, and finally breathing easy.

A special thanks goes out to Dr. Szabo, Dr. Masuda and the wonderful nursing staff at Cowichan District Hospital.

The Koffski family invites everyone to join them in a Celebration of Life for Lorraine, on Saturday December 9th, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Eagles Hall in Duncan BC.
