It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorne (Sunny) Thomas Ferguson, Lorne passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Lorne is survived by his three children Kathy, Carol and Tom as well as his grandchildren Nicole Hupp, Anthony Monti, Thomas Monti, Caleigh Coels, and Christine Coels, his three great Grandchildren Hunter & Jamie Hupp and Hudson Monti.
Lorne was born in Three Hills Alberta, after moving around Alberta for 9 years, the family finally settled down in Campbell River BC in 1946. Lorne was a logger for most of his life and then decided to try his hand in long-haul truck driving until he finally decided to retire at the age of 78.
Lorne was very loyal and loving to his family and friend to many. He was always telling his wild stories and telling jokes right to the end.
He will be greatly missed.
