Lorna passed away peacefully on May 6, 2021 and went to be with her Lord and Saviour after a sudden short illness.
Lorna was born in Powell River, BC and shortly moved later to the Comox Valley where she grew up and attended public school. After high school, Lorna trained to become a hair dresser and married Robert Hutton whom she had 2 children with.
Lorna later moved to Campbell River where she bought her own salon called "The French Salon" where she made many friends. Lorna was also a very talented artist and became a Canadian Federated Artist in the 1980's.
She also enjoyed her coffee visits with friends at Tim Hortons, sewing and making jewelry.
Lorna is survived by her two sons David (Carolyn) and Scott (Zorayda), grandchildren: Deryn, Ryan, Sofia, Matthew, Ethan and Lyndon as well as her brother David (Gayle) Adey, sister Linda (Fred) Lefley and husband Frank Heal (later deceased May 16, 2021) as well as numerous friends and family.
Lorna is predeceased by her parents Frank and Elizabeth (Knight) Adey, siblings Joan, Ken Adey and Anne Colbow, as well as her grandson Jaeden Hutton.
The family would like to thank the staff in the ER, EDU and 3rd floor as well as BC Ambulance Paramedics Amanda and Ben, and Discovery Community Church for the prayers and support. No service at this time due to COVID restrictions.
