It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Lloyd Ross Makus announces his passing at the age of 79 on March 16, 2019. 

Lloyd was born on January 28, 1940 in Trail BC. He was pre-deceased by his parents Ed & Ethel Makus, brother Glen Makus. grandson Jason Makus and daughter-in-law Sherry Makus. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharron Makus, son Ian Makus (Crystal), son, Jerry Makus (Cindy), daughter Tanya Bayrack (Rick), grandsons, Christopher Mullett (Danni), Joshua Mullett, Mitchell Makus (Christina), Spencer Duncan-Makus, Cole and Matthew 

Bayrack, great granddaughters Riley and Stella Mullett and their mother Jocelyn Whyte, Sister-in-law, Betty Jo Marshall-Makus, Brother-in-law, Clarence Vogt, Sister-in-law Bernice Vogt. 

Lloyd moved to Campbell River in 1948, graduating from CARIHI in 1958. He was employed at Elk Falls Mill from 1958 until 1997 when he moved to Jamaica to work for Kaiser Corp. for 7 years, returning to Canada in 2003. Lloyd was a gentleman and a gentle man and will be loved and missed by many. 

Funeral service is Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 145 Simms Road, Campbell River, BC at 11 am, Rev John Green officiating. Light refreshments to follow after the service. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's, Heart and Stroke or a charity of your choice.
