Lloyd Allen Heskin

December 10, 1940 - October 7, 2017

In loving memory - Lloyd Allen Heskin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd Heskin on October 7, 2017.

After surviving prostate cancer 7 years ago he succumbed to a short painful battle with myloma bone cancer.

A special thank you to Dr. Elaine Wai from the BC Cancer agency in Victoria for her heartfelt support.

Lloyd is survived by his two loving sisters Elaine (Homer Brunet ) and Marellyn.

He also leaves behind son Ken (Sheila) and daughter Elaine (Steve Rosvold), grandaughters Crystal (Nicholas Schultz), Robyn, Aria, and great granddaughter Kendyll. Lloyd was pre-deceased by his loving grandson Caleb.

Lloyd was born in Norquay Saskatchewan and quickly found his way to the BC coast to work in the bush as a faller during the winter and fishing in the summer. His hard work and determination quickly allowed him to become a successful fishing Captain and owner of the "M.V. Lasqueti Star".

Lloyd made many friends on the BC Coast and will be sadly missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held at the Fanny Bay OAP Hall (corner of Ship's Point Road and the South Island Hwy) on Sunday, October 29th at 2:30 pm, please bring your memories and photos to share.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
