Linda, a resident of Merville died peacefully Friday, April 22, 2022, comforted by her loving family. She was born August 14, 1948 in Duncan, BC, and lived on Vancouver Island for the majority of her life making her "home" for the last 50 years in Merville.
Linda felt best busy in her kitchen whipping up delicious meals and goodies for her family; also well known in the Merville community for her beautifully decorated cakes, working in the garden with Marcel, thrifting with friends and sister, at the sewing machine stitching the latest trends and sharing time with family and friends having a good BS.
Linda took great pride in her home, raising her children, Toni (Brent) and Corey, and being a wife and partner to Marcel for almost 56 years. She was proud of her grandchildren Lucas, Joshua, Wylie and Matthew.
She will be dearly missed and remembered by her older sister, Sharon(Austin), and her nieces, Sherrie, Sandra and Susan.
She will be fondly remembered for her no nonsense attitude and her immense strength and courage that allowed Linda to love her life despite facing many health challenges throughout the years.
We invite family and friends to gather on what would have been Linda's 74th birthday, August 14, 2022 (details TBA) for an informal celebration of her life at the family home.
