In loving memory ~

It has been over four and a half months since you left me, on your own terms, my lovely Linda and I think about you every day.

You were, as Seattle singer Merrilee Rush sang in her 1968 chart topping song "Angel of the Morning" - truly my angel of the morning.

Fiercely independent, which I recognized the first time we met on the University of Washington campus, Friday, January 8th, 1971 - to the more than forty plus years later we reconnected here on Southern Vancouver Island.

You were boldly adventurous, and nothing would stand in your way as you travelled to and resided at several locations - from Boston, New England and to Yakima, Washington, to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and to your final destination, here in the Cowichan Valley.

Linda was born in Oakland, California and passed at Cowichan Valley Hospice with the kind and loving Dr. Andrea Wilhelm assisting her to her next chapter.

Linda was fondly remembered by all who knew her and saw her as a kind and considerate, open minded and aware woman.

Linda was the beloved daughter born to William and Georgia Norcott and her lone sibling was Will Jr. All since passed in the early 90's.

Linda is survived by her husband Rick Marley of Mill Bay and stepsons Spencer and Morgan Marley.

There will be a celebration of Linda's life on what would have been her and Richard's Eleventh Wedding Anniversary, this Saturday, May 25th between 2-5 pm, at Richard's home - where the wedding took place.

Time to say, "Goodbye Baby."
