Leslie "Les" Roy Hoyseth

March 14, 1933 - October 18, 2017

Les was born in Spruce Home, Saskatchewan on March 14, 1933, and died in Comox Valley Seniors Village on October 18, 2017.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ruby and John Hoyseth, his brothers Elmer and Arnold, his sisters Doris and Edie, his mother and father-in-law Blanche and Henri Sarrazin, his sisters-in-law Denise, Louise, Norma, Mary Lou, and his brothers-in-law Emile and Ted.

Les is survived by his wife Beatrice, son Wendell (Laura), daughter Jacqueline (Ricky), grandchildren, Rowan, Archer, Ethan and Sage, brother Oscar, brothers-in-law, Gus, Roger, and Howard, sister Alice and Shirley, sisters-in-law, Dena, Mary and Laurie as well as many nieces and nephews.

Les was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Royal Canadian Legion. He was also a devoted member of the Catholic Church.

Les was a jack-of-all trades, including carpentry, millworker, farmer, restauranteur and caregiver for special needs young adults in Langley. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing, curling, baseball, golf, playing cards, singing around the campfire, travelling, camping with family and friends.

Les always had a smile and was a true gentleman. He was a guiding, kind and loving father, grandfather and "Uncle Les" to many kids. He was a great role model with unwavering morals.
