1951-2019 ~ Leanne died April 14th after a lengthy struggle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Maynard Dalderis, step son Alex Dalderis and step granddaughter Jessica Moore and baby Aya. Also, sister Eleanor (Hugh McKenzie), and brother Gordon (Judy Kemp) and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
She will be sorely missed by her hiking buddies, concert dates, biking and gardening friends on the island. She was loved by many other friends abroad and from Calgary where the Dalderis' moved from five years ago.
Many thanks to Dr. Hunter, Dr. van der Weyde, and the many nurses for their compassionate and loving care of Leanne during the last 2 months of her life.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Rd., Parksville.
