On October 8, 2018 heaven gained another angel. It's with heavy hearts we say goodbye to a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Laura was born at Bittern Lake, Alberta on January 1, 1931. Laura was predeceased by her parents, husband Ken of 58 years, daughter Ellen, 1 sister Joy, 3 brothers George, Charles, and Jim.
Laura is survived by 1 son in law Cliff, 3 children Teresa (Moreno), Kenneth Jr. (Rita) and Linda (Derek). Grandchildren Eric, Anthony, Cassandra, Andrienna, Renaldo, Marlena, Rocky, Jacqueline, Crystal, Ryan, Albert, Tabitha, and Bryan, as well as numerous great grandchildren.
Mom loved square dancing and her church. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and playing games.
She will be sadly missed and always remembered.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in remembrance of her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 27, 2018 from 2 - 4 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ Latterday Saints at 4815 Compton Rd.
