Ken has passed away from this life to his eternal home after 90 happy years.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Ruth, sister Dorothy, three children; Graham, [Joyce], Carol, [Fred], Sharon [Stuart], grandchildren; Nicola (Dave), Becky (Steve), Andrea (Andrew), Theresa, Christina (Jonah) and five great grandchildren, plus numerous friends and relatives.

Ken was born in Vancouver and lived there all his life. His career involved business and property development both in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. He was a man both of vision and action, and was instrumental in starting up Calling Foundation (which built Parkdale Manor and Blenheim Lodge in Vancouver), Regent College at UBC, Pioneer Camps both on Thetis Island and at Chehalis, Chemainus Theatre and Honeymoon Bay Retreat Centre on Vancouver Island.

He also gave of his time and talents to his home church, Granville Chapel, and was involved in music at the Terry Winter Crusades. He loved spending summers at their cottage on Thetis Island.

Ken will be remembered as a kind, generous, humble, enthusiastic, and dedicated man, both at home and in his various projects.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at Granville Chapel at 2:30 pm.
