Ken passed away June 27, 2020 at his home surrounded by family. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Harold and Eleanor Dagg, his sister, Marie Dagg, his sister-in-law Bev Dagg and his infant granddaughter Trinity Sandland. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Dorothy (Dot), his daughters, Jennifer Wenzel (Michael) and Alison Sandland (Thomas) and his four amazing grandsons, Benjamin and Lucas Wenzel and Edison and Eli Sandland. He is survived by his sisters Lynda McLeod, Marjorie Munro (Todd) and his brothers Brian (Karen), Garth (Charmaine) and Wesley.
He was born in Minnedosa, Manitoba. His family moved to Yorkton, then Saskatoon and lastlytoTisdale,Saskatchewan. Kenworkedfor the Co-op in Tisdale and Arborfield and joined the RCMP in 1973. From Depot, he went to Fernie, then Burns Lake, Vernon, Terrace and lastly to Comox, BC. He worked general duty, and highway patrol and then specialised in crash reconstruction. He retired in 2012. Ken loved his work, his family, his woodworking, and his golf (a lot). He loved music and was passionate about music history. He left behind a group of very special friends that supported him over these last years. If you count yourself as one of his friends, then you should know how much your friendship helped him over the years.
Private cremation arrangements. Donations in his name can be made to the charity of your choice. Any special stories of his life would be appreciated by his family.
