April 16, 1961 - June 13, 2020
Cancer takes another wonderful person too early. Kathi was predeceased by her father George, leaves behind her daughter Sarah (Greg) and her two grandchildren Koen and Kye, her mother Rita and four brothers Ted, Glen, Jim (Diane) and David. Her spouse of 35 years Don, also Joey and Dazey Kathi was a wonderful, caring, kind person, and she will be missed by all relatives and friends.
She met many people by first working in the service industry. Many will remember her tending bar at the Whistle Stop for years, then moving on to the Nursery business where she loved wearing blue jeans and getting her hands dirty. Then finally ending her career making flower baskets. She was rightfully proud of her ability to blend plants and colour to make a finished product.
She loved the Comox Valley and her soul will always remain here. A gathering of friends and family will come later this summer. We would like to thank the nurses at the Comox General Hospital for their care of Kathi till the end.
