December 9, 1926 - September 20, 2020
It is with heavy hearts, that we are sad to announce the passing of our mom, Kathleen (Kay) Davison. Mom was predeceased by her parents Jack and Kitty Blakely, her husband Frank Davison, Son-in-law Ray Flynn, Great Great Granddaughter Ella Rae Fair and her four older sisters.
She is survived by her three daughters Katherine Flynn, Laurel (Bill) Holmberg and Jeanette (Kal) Kowbel. Six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, One great great grandchild and her youngest sister Jacquie Montgomery.
Mom was born and raised in Merville BC, on a dairy farm where she and her five sisters got into a lot of mischief. She was a proud member of the Native Daughters.
Mom and dad loved to travel and did many trips to Hawaii, Europe and cruises. They also enjoyed spending the winter months in Palm Springs in their motorhome or park trailer,
Mom loved to play bridge, crib and later on, bingo. There were many nights spent around the piano with "the gang" after a dance, until "Good Night Irene" was sung.
Mom was known to be quite a fire cracker and the life of a party. She spent a lot of her spare time knitting for everyone. In moms later years, her greatest joy was the visits from her grandchildren.
We would like to thank Maggie,Terry,Shelly and Julie for all their visits. You always put a smile on Moms face.
