On Saturday, September 26, Karen Elysa Peniuk (nee Ulland), age 78, passed away at home in Nanaimo with family by her side.
Karen will be forever remembered by her husband Ed, and their children, Lisa (Aaron) and Dave (Julie), by her grandchildren Tora, Kari, and Jackson, and by her brother Gary (Arlene) and sister Elaine (Frank).
Karen will also be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends, sorority, ball team, and her many pickleball partners and competitors. A Memorial Service will be held for the family on Monday, October 5th and a link to join it virtually (online) will be made available for all that wish to attend from home. Contact Sands Funeral Home for details. https://www.arbormemorial.ca/en/sands-nanaimo/contact
