Julie Gibson

With great sadness we announce the passing of Julie Gibson, July 19, 2020, at the age of 90.
Predeceased by sister Jean. Survived by sons, Darryl (Peggy), Myles (Imelda), Charles, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Sisters, Alice Bernier, Bernie Wine (Fynn), brother Gerald Lessard (Gail).
Julie was born in Delmas Sask and lived most of her life in Port Alberni. Working at Alberni Plywood, volunteer for the Ladies Auxillary of the Catholic Church. She was blessed with many friends throughout her life. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, love for cards, dancing and family.
The family would like to thank Abbeyfield residents and staff for all their friendship during her stay there.
Due to Covid, a small private service was held in celebration of Julie's life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Abbeyfield Port Alberni.
